    • Select "Data Deletion Request" as the subject (if available)
    • Provide detailed information about your request

Step 3: Identity Verification

To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletion requests, we may need to verify your identity. This may involve:

  • Confirming information from your Tuck School records
  • Verifying the email address you've previously used to communicate with us
  • Asking security questions about your time at Tuck

Important: Please use the email address associated with your Tuck records when submitting a deletion request. This helps us verify your identity and locate your data more quickly.

Processing Your Request

Response Timeline

We will acknowledge receipt of your data deletion request within 5 business days and will process your request according to the following timeline:

  • Simple Requests: Completed within 15 business days
  • Complex Requests: May take up to 30 business days, depending on the volume and type of data
  • Extended Requests: In rare cases where extensive research is required, we may need up to 45 days and will notify you of the extension

What Happens During Processing

When we process your deletion request, we will:

  1. Verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate
  2. Locate all personal data associated with your identity across our systems
  3. Review any legal obligations that may require data retention
  4. Delete or anonymize your personal data as requested
  5. Notify you once the deletion is complete

Third-Party Data

Please note that this data deletion process only applies to data stored on Tuck2000.com servers. We cannot delete data from third-party services, including:

  • Facebook: Posts or interactions in the Tuck2000 Facebook group
  • LinkedIn: Connections or posts in the LinkedIn alumni network
  • Google Analytics & Microsoft Clarity: Analytics data (though this is typically anonymized)
  • Email Providers: Copies of emails in your or others' email accounts

To delete data from these services, you must contact them directly following their respective data deletion procedures.

Consequences of Data Deletion

Before requesting data deletion, please be aware that:

  • Deleted data cannot be recovered
  • You may lose access to certain features or services
  • Your class notes and contributions to the alumni community will be removed
  • You may need to re-submit information if you wish to participate in future class activities
  • Historical records and published materials may retain your name as part of the class history

Partial Deletion Requests

You don't have to request deletion of all your data. You may request deletion of specific categories of information, such as:

  • Only uploaded files
  • Only blog comments or posts
  • Only contact information while retaining your class notes submissions
